Master of Philosophy in Economics (M.Phil Economics)


The major aim of this degree program is to promote research culture in the field of economics. Economics is an important discipline and plays key role in the development of the country. The university is already offering MBA and MCom where a number of courses related to Economics and Finance are offered which strengthen this degree program also. The university has hired a full time PhD faculty and adjunct to teach advanced level courses. The whole degree program is divided into Core courses, Elective courses and research work, as shown in the table below.

Eligibility:
MA/MSc Economics or equivalent - 16 year of education
BA/BSc/BS Economics or equivalent - 16 year education.
Duration:
The total duration of the program is one & half year to two year.
