Romanian Ambassador Visits Abasyn University to Strengthen Academic Collaboration
His Excellency Dr. Dan Stoenescu, Ambassador of Romania to Islamabad, along with a high-profile delegation from the Embassy of Romania, paid a memorable visit to Abasyn University Peshawar as part of efforts to establish academic linkages between universities in Romania and Pakistan. The Chancellor of Abasyn University, Dr. Muhammad Imran Ullah, warmly welcomed the distinguished guests and provided an orientation about the university. As a token of goodwill, he presented commemorative shields to the visiting delegation. Mr. Masood Qazi, Honorary Consul General of Romania, was also present on the occasion. During the visit, Dr. Dan Stoenescu shared his vision to foster academic and research collaboration between higher education institutions in both countries, while also promoting cultural, trade, business, and technical partnerships. Following this, the Vice Chancellor, Dr. Syed Umar Farooq, presented an overview of the university, highlighting its key achievements since its inception.
