
Dr. Waqar Alam
Professor/ HODDr. Waqar Alam is an Associate Professor and Chairman department of Management Sciences at Abasyn University Peshawar KP., Pakistan. He is the managing editor of the Abasyn Journal of Social Sciences (AJSS) a reputed journal of Social Sciences in Pakistan. He has a Ph.D. in Management Sciences majoring in Marketing and a gold medalist from Preston University Islamabad Pakistan. He also has a Masters in Business Administration in Marketing from National University USA. He is a member of the University Senate, Academic Council and Head of the MS/PhD programs. Dr. Waqar used to be the head of the Department of Management Sciences at Preston University Kohat and Iqra University Peshawar. He is a member of the Graduate Studies and Research Management Council (GSRMC) of Abasyn University. He is the Chief Organizer of Abasyn International Conference on Technology and Business Management (AICTBM) and Chief Editor of the University Newsletter (Abasonian). He has published numerous articles in academic journals at home and abroad. His main research areas are brand management, cross-national studies, Internal Marketing and Higher Education Marketing.
