Report on M.Phil thesis defence by Ms Sana Rehman in the field of microbiology
Ms. Sana Rehman has successfully defended her M.Phil thesis in the field of Microbiology at the defense held in Abasyn University, Peshawar Campus, and qualified for the award of M.Phil degree.
She did her research on Antibiotic susceptibility pattern and prevalence of clinical isolates of multidrug resistant Pseudomonas aeriginosa based on molecular detection of genes resistant to aminoglycosides and flouro-quinones
under the supervision of Mr. Shabeer Ahmad, Assistant Professor, Abasyn University Peshawar Campus. Dr. Akhtar Rasool (Assistant Professor, University of Swat) served as her external examiner and Dr. Muhammad Rizwan(Assistant Professor, Microbiology and Biotechnology Department, Abasyn University) served as internal examiner for the evaluation of her thesis.
The defence was attended by a large number of faculty members and the students.
