Report on two days training on Laboratory Bio-safety and Research Ethics
Two days training session on Laboratory Biosafety and Research Ethics was organized by department of Microbiology and Biotechnology,Abasyn University, Peshawar campus on 2nd-3rd October 2017 at main Hall Abasyn University at 2.00 pm. Training was conducted by Dr. Rizwan, Assistant Professor, Department of Microbiology and Biotechnology.
The objective of the training was to aware the research students about the Laboratory Biosafety guidelines, Procedures and standards. Dr. Rizwan demonstrated and practically performed all the safety proceduresthat should be taken before working in lab.He also had discussed the very basic pointsthat research students do not follow while working in laboratory. M.sc and M. PhilStudents and faculty members of Microbiology and Biotechnology department of Abasyn University attended the training session with full interest and performed the safety procedures. Certificate of appraisalwas awarded to the respected speaker Dr. Rizwan while certificates were distributed among the organizers and participants.
