One Day Seminar On Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever, Causes, Prevention And Cure
One day seminar on Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever, Causes, Prevention and Cure was organized by department of Microbiology and Biotechnology, Abasyn University Peshawar Campus, on 14th September, 2017 at Main Hall at 11:00 AM. Seminar was organized by Dr. Rafiullah , Assistant Professor, Department of Microbiology and Biotechnology. The objective of the seminar was to aware the students about the prevailing dengue infection, its causes, disease symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, prevention and control. Dr Hayat Khan who is woeking as an Assistant Professor, department of microbiology and biotechnology, Abasyn university Peshaawar campus and the speaker of the seminar gave a very comprehensive lecture on the disease and virus. He discussed the very basic aspect related to disease specially its symptoms and transmission. He gratly emphasized on its prevention and control. Students and faculty members from different departments of Abasyn university attended the seminar and had shown full interest. Vice Chancellor, Abasyn University Dr. Syed Umar Farooq also attended the seminar and appreciated the organizers for arranging such type of informative seminars. Certificates were distributed among the organizers and participants. Such type of seminars will be arranged by the university in future for the students.
