Migrant Resource Centre and Interaction Session
Migrant Resource Center and interaction session was organized by the ministry of overseas Pakistan and human resource development on 24th October, 2019 at Abasyn University, Peshawar. The session purpose to raise awareness and provide information of regular migration, irregular migration, human trafficking, migrate smuggling and the related serious risk as well as scholarship opportunities The guest speaker Mr. Shahid Naveed (Coordinator MRC) said, men and women are on the move in search of new opportunities, better income and better lives and for this desire they choose illegal ways and after then they get punishment. He further added that Shahid Khan (American Billionaire Businessman) went with the legal procedure and got succeed. He advised to students always choose the legal procedure for migrants and contact with a migrant resource center for more clarification. Mr. Zafar Iqbal (Additional Registrar) expressed gratitude to Migrant Resource center for guided the students of Abasyn University.
