ONE DAY SEMINAR ON "ACCESSING HEC DEIGTAL LIBRARY"
In this digital era students must be acquainted with digital library. In this context the Department of Microbiology and Biotechnology arranged a one day seminar in the Central library of Abasyn University on September 23, 2019. In this seminar scholars of M. Phil Microbiology and Biotechnology were acquainted about the pros of digital library and how to access it. More than 60 students attended the seminar in which they learnt about how to download free as well as paid papers and books from the HEC Digital Library. There was a hands-on practice session under the supervision of Dr. Kashif Bashir in which the students downloaded research papers from different paid and unpaid journals. While knowing the students views about the visit, they added that such seminars must be practiced in future because it not only increases our knowledge but also helps us in grooming
